Ingredients

- 300 g orzo
- 500 g chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 750 ml chicken broth
- 250 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the same skillet, sautéing until translucent.
- Stir in the orzo and mix for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and cook until the orzo is tender.
- Mix in the cream and parmesan, then return the chicken to the skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for more flavor and nutrition. Adjust spices to your personal taste.
