Description

A delightful French pastry featuring a soft texture and sweet apricot flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 œufs
  • 100 g de sucre
  • 1 sachet de sucre vanillé
  • 100 g de farine
  • 20 cl de lait
  • 20 cl de crème liquide
  • 500 g d’abricots
  • 2 bouchons d’amaretto

Instructions

  1. Remove the pits from the apricots, cut them into small pieces and place them at the bottom of a buttered and sugared baking dish.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  3. Mix in a bowl the flour, eggs, salt, and sugars, then gradually add the milk, cream, and finally the amaretto until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, remembering to sprinkle with crystal sugar 10 minutes before the end of cooking.

Notes

This clafoutis can be served warm or cold. Enhance it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of fresh cream for extra creaminess.
