Description

Grilled avocado adds a smoky flavor and creamy texture, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Spices of choice (cumin, paprika, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
  3. Brush the inside with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the cut-side of the avocados on the grill and cook for 5 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
  5. Drizzle with lemon juice and add spices to taste before serving.
