Ingredients

- 1 cup lentilles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Rinse the lentilles.
- In a pressure cooker, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and minced garlic until soft.
- Add the diced tomatoes, lentils, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
- Cover with water and mix well.
- Close the pressure cooker and cook under pressure for about 15-20 minutes.
- Release the pressure, open the pot, and check the lentils’ doneness.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Serve the lentils hot with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh coriander. They can be paired with Moroccan bread, rice, or a simple salad.
