Delicious Moroccan pancakes that are crispy on the outside and soft inside, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients

- 500 g de farine
- 250 ml d’eau tiède
- 1 cuillère à café de sel
- 2 cuillères à soupe d’huile d’olive
- 150 g de beurre fondu
- Farine pour saupoudrer
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt.
- Gradually add the warm water while kneading until a smooth dough is formed.
- Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of an orange).
- Roll each ball into a thin layer and brush with melted butter.
- Fold the dough into several layers and heat a skillet.
- Cook each pancake until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with salad or soup.
Notes
Msemen can be stored in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature or frozen for longer storage.
