- 4 pieces of chicken (thighs or breasts)
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 cups of crushed pretzels
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of mustard
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of sour cream
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
- Dip each piece of chicken in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in crushed pretzels.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing mustard, cheddar cheese, and sour cream in a small saucepan over low heat until the cheese is melted.
- Serve chicken hot with mustard-cheddar sauce.
Notes
For extra crispiness, press the pretzels firmly around the chicken after coating. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet.
