Description

Simple and quick bars that provide energy for the day, made with oats, honey, and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup nuts or dried fruits (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, gently melt the peanut butter and honey over low heat until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, chocolate, and nuts or dried fruits.
  3. Pour the honey and peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture into a parchment-lined mold and press firmly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

Press the mixture well into the mold for sturdier bars. You can store in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for 1 month.
