Description

A classic Italian appetizer featuring toasted ciabatta topped with creamy ricotta and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer.


Ingredients

  • Ciabatta bread
  • Ricotta
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Honey
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Slice the ciabatta bread into pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Toast the bread in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta with a bit of honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the ricotta on the toasted bread slices.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries.
  7. Add some fresh basil leaves on top and a drizzle of honey if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
