Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a spoon, drop small portions of the dough into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides, then remove and place on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve hot right after frying. For best results, avoid overloading the frying pan to keep the oil temperature consistent.
